Rick Springfield - Songs For The End Of the World

Rick returns with new album, and like most other reviewers ... it's an album (not just a Ms Springfield's) that grows on you ...
Grooveshark to listen ... buy the album off iTunes for bonus tracks ...

Lana Del Rey

Lana Del Rey ok, the music actually starts from 3:26 mark ... is she Jim (Jimbo) Morrison reincarnated ? lol she sure fits the bill .... listen to Cola ... if you doubt me ... be forewarned ... COLA is rated RA !!! you gotta sign in to verify your age, just so you could watch the youtube video hahaha

Áerosmith - Another Last Goodbye

Aerosmith - Another Last Goodbye last track off their latest album, Music From Another Dimension. actually the only track i dig ... nevermind if it's yet another ballad. this one beats Ï Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" (a track i refuse to play nor listen to) hands down EASILY !

Alabama Shakes

Alabama Shakes Hold On Hang Loose Alabama Shakes is an American rock band formed in Athens, Alabama in 2009. The group consists of lead singer Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, bassist Zac Cockrell, and drummer Steve Johnson. The group received three nominations for the 2013 Grammy Awards: one for best new artist; one for best rock performance, for "Hold On"; and one for best recording package with their first album, Boys & Girls.

Flying Colors - Everything Changes

Flying Colors - Everything Changes Flying Colors is an American supergroup composed of Mike Portnoy, Dave LaRue, Casey McPherson, Neal Morse and Steve Morse. the track is but one of many excellent songs from their self-titled debut album, released this year. 2 other stand out tracks are : Love Is What I'm Waiting For Blue Ocean the other interesting thing is that the youtube is either uploaded by the Mike Portnoy, the band's drums, percussion, vocals ... or a fan of Mike. i suspect it's the former (didn't take the time to verify this though)

Tokio Hotel - World Behind My Wall

not sure if this was a hit in the US. suspect it didn't make it cos on the band's wiki Discography -> Singles, there's no U.S. chart performance listings at all. anyway, Tokio Hotel is a German rock band. and that's as much i know about them. check out their wiki page : Tokio Hotel the song, "World Behind My Wall" was supposedly released for the US audience (English version) in 2010. the original German version was released a year earlier in 2009. it's a pretty decent (ok, i like it!!) rock anthem. it's catchy chorus will have you humming in next to no time ... so, give the track a listen please ... hey, whose to say, perhaps it might just gain a second wind and become a hit in the US after all (one of my favorite quotes "Stranger Things Have Happened"). if you like it, why not just share the vid on your facebook, blogs, websites, etc

The Dawes - A Little Bit Of Everything

"The closing track of Los Angeles rootsy quartet Dawes' second album, Nothing Is Wrong, finds the band trading their guitar-driven sound for upright piano. Frontman Taylor Goldsmith discussed the inspiration for the song with UK newspaper The Sun: "I wrote down the title in my notebook, unsure if I was gonna use it for anything. I was just excited about taking a phrase that I could use for a guy who was trying to explain how the world weighs on him and at the same time, for a guy explaining what he wants to eat. Everything else came out of that.""
